SPRING TIME IN ALASKA

While most of America has been basking in unseasonably warm temperatures, this is what it's like on the first day of  Spring  in Seldovia.  It will probably take until the middle of June for this snow to melt out of my yard.

  1. That is a lot of snow. We usually have heavy snow in New England but we had little this year. Sometimes it like your house until is until April around here. Right now everything is blooming early and out of season. Hope you don't mind the snow...summer must feel very precious.

  2. Summer is great here. Nearly 20 hours of daylight. Things grow fast. The hummingbirds usually show up here the last week in April or the first week in May, so I'm wondering about them already.
